Parkside Partners buys 21-story Atlanta office building
The roughly 345,000-square-foot property at 1355 Peachtree St. is about 50% leased, and Parkside plans a seven-figure renovation that includes a coffee bar and other amenities.
Parkside Partners has bought The Peachtree, a 21-story office building at 1355 Peachtree St. in Atlanta, with plans for a significant makeover. ConnectCRE reports the approximately 345,000-square-foot property is currently about 50% leased.
Coastal States Bank provided acquisition financing for the deal. The seller was a joint venture led by Banyan Street Capital, represented by Eastdil Secured Savills, and the outlet said that joint venture purchased the building for $60.3 million in 2015.
As part of the renovation, Parkside plans to add a coffee bar and other amenities to upgrade the tenant experience. ConnectCRE also said Eli Green and Kyle Jenks will lead leasing in-house for Parkside, and that the firm previously delivered the nearby Boundary project.
