Vertafore rolls out Velocity AI agent for insurance document research
The Velocity Document Intelligence Agent is designed for general availability within Vertafore’s ImageRight platform and can synthesize answers with document and page-level citations.
Vertafore announced general availability of its new Velocity Document Intelligence Agent, aimed at automating research across insurance documents so professionals can reach needed information faster, according to Coverager.
The agent is built to reduce the time insurance agency, MGA, and carrier teams spend reviewing many documents to answer customer questions, renew or endorse policies, assess risk, or resolve claims, Coverager said.
Available within Vertafore’s ImageRight, the tool takes questions in natural language and finds and synthesizes relevant information across content users are authorized to access, including Word documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and email.
Coverager reports the agent differs from traditional keyword search by using meaning and context, and it returns a clear answer with document and page-level source citations.
