Arbor South wins final state approval for Ann Arbor mixed-use project

ConnectCRE reports the 20-acre development is planned to add more than 1,000 apartments and condominiums, 100,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a hotel.

Oxford Companies and Crawford Hoying announced that their Arbor South project, a 20-acre mixed-use community in Ann Arbor, received final state approval from the Michigan Strategic Fund Board, according to ConnectCRE.

The development is located at 2845 S. State St., near Eisenhower Parkway, and is designed as an extension of the city’s energy, creativity and community, the outlet said.

ConnectCRE added that Arbor South plans to include more than 1,000 apartments and condominiums, 100,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and a hotel.

The announcement also cited Jeff Hauptman, CEO of Oxford Companies, saying the approval marks an important milestone for the project.
