Becovic Residential buys Andersonville mixed-use property for $20 million

The acquisition is priced at $20 million and brings 81 apartments and 10 ground-floor commercial spaces under its new name, The Quarters at Andersonville.

Becovic Residential has acquired a historic mixed-use property at 5154 N. Clark Street in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood for $20 million, and is rebranding it as The Quarters at Andersonville, according to ConnectCRE.

The 1923 property sits on a full city block at the intersection of Clark Street, Foster Avenue and Ashland Avenue, and includes 81 apartments plus 10 ground-floor commercial spaces.

ConnectCRE also reported that the previous owner held the asset for more than 40 years, and that Becovic Management Group will provide property management services for the property.

Essex Realty Group served as broker for the transaction, ConnectCRE said.
