KKR and Mirastar buy UK logistics portfolio from Ares

The fully occupied portfolio totals 2.7 million square feet and is valued at about £400 million (US$529 million).

KKR and Mirastar, through KKR Real Estate’s European industrial and logistics platform, have acquired a UK logistics portfolio from Ares Real Estate funds, according to ConnectCRE.

The deal covers eight logistics assets totaling 2.7 million square feet, and the portfolio is valued at approximately £400 million, or US$529 million, based on published reports.

The properties are fully occupied and located across established distribution markets in England’s Midlands, South East, and North regions, including Corby, Doncaster, Stoke-on-Trent, and Milton Keynes.

ConnectCRE reports that KKR and Mirastar said the assets benefit from connectivity to key population centers and transportation infrastructure.
