CMLS CEO Jessica Edgerton calls for faster, silo-breaking action
HousingWire reports Edgerton also announced a new CMLS broker membership tier with EXIT Realty and HomeServices of America.
HousingWire reports that Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) CEO Jessica Edgerton opened the CMLS Open House 2026 conference by urging the real estate industry to embrace discomfort, break down longstanding silos, and move faster.
Edgerton said CMLS will create a new advocacy role that works alongside the National Association of Realtors at both federal and state levels, in addition to acting independently.
She also announced a new broker membership tier at CMLS in partnership with EXIT Realty and HomeServices of America, and outlined plans for four regional events leading up to Dallas 2027.
