Oil rises as Trump signals no easing of Iran sanctions

Brent was around $103.1 a barrel and WTI about $89.5, with both headed for a monthly gain after Tuesday’s dip.

Crude oil prices moved higher as reports said President Trump has no intention of easing sanction pressure on Iran, an approach that has reduced exports from one of OPEC’s biggest producers, OilPrice said.

At the time of writing, Brent was trading around $103.13 per barrel and West Texas Intermediate at about $89.53, both set to end the month higher after falling on Tuesday.

OilPrice also pointed to current quote action showing WTI near $89.7 and Brent near $103.4 in the hours before publication, alongside moves in related refined fuels and other crude benchmarks mentioned on its pricing panel.
