Pansy Ho wins injunction barring woman from contacting her
Hong Kong High Court ordered the defendant to pay HK$1.8 million, about US$229,000, after finding a year of harassment via emails and hand-delivered letters.
Pansy Ho Chiu-king, chairwoman and executive director of MGM China Holdings, won a lawsuit seeking a permanent injunction to bar a woman from contacting her and her companies, after the court found repeated harassment involving emails and hand-delivered letters containing false allegations, according to SCMP Economy.
The ruling, delivered by the High Court on Wednesday, said the harassment lasted for about a year, from March 2025.
The defendant was also ordered to pay Ho HK$1.8 million (US$229,000) in compensation for damages.
Ho is also group executive chairwoman and managing director of Shun Tak Holdings, and the judgment identified the defendant as Steffi Chen Pan-yu, a former licensed broker.
