Ambulanceman dies after abseiling fall on Kowloon Peak in Hong Kong
The Fire Services Department received the report at 2:33pm, and a government helicopter and mountain rescue teams searched the area.
An off-duty senior ambulanceman died after falling from a cliff while abseiling on Kowloon Peak in Hong Kong, according to the Fire Services Department.
The department said it received a report at 2:33pm on Friday that a man had fallen in Wong Tai Sin during an abseiling activity.
Rescuers, including mountain and high-angle rescue teams, searched the area with a government helicopter, and a drone was also deployed.
Officials said another man with minor injuries was found on a nearby trail and that the fallen man was found unconscious at a nearby cliff.
