Arlington targets redevelopment near entertainment district with $135M-plus plan

Bisnow reports Trademark Property is redeveloping the former Lincoln Square shopping center, a 43-year-old site, with a $135M-plus investment.

Housing and development focus is shifting in Arlington, Texas as the city leans into its entertainment district to drive additional construction and revitalization, according to Bisnow.

The Arlington Entertainment District is described by Bisnow as a sports and leisure hub with attractions including the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, Six Flags, and two Loews hotels.

Bisnow reports that the city is pursuing developers and public private partnerships, citing Trademark Property Co. Vice President of Redevelopment Services Monica Luera Kessler discussing doing business in Tarrant County.

Bisnow also says Trademark Property broke ground this summer on redevelopment of the 43-year-old Lincoln Square shopping center, a project it describes as a $135M-plus investment that will transform the property into a new Anthem development totaling 404K square feet.
