Feeld founders receive record £3.8m dividend after revenue jump

The dating app reported 32% revenue growth to £64m and said users outside the UK account for nearly 90% of revenue.

Feeld, the UK-based dating app aimed at non-monogamous, queer and kinky users, said it posted strong sales growth and paid its largest-ever dividend to shareholders, including founders Ana Kirova and Dimo Trifonov. The company distributed a total of £3.8m in dividends after reporting a 32% jump in revenues to £64m.

According to the company, pre-tax profits increased from £9.3m to £11.4m. Feeld also said nearly 90% of its revenues come from users outside the UK, as it attracts customers from more “vanilla” dating rivals.

Feeld described its user growth as being driven by demand from “open-minded people exploring love, desire, and alternative relationships in a safe, inclusive space.” The piece also notes the founders previously ran the business under the name 3nder, originally targeting couples and singles seeking threesomes, before later changes led it to become Feeld.
