Oil prices fall more than 3% after EU diesel and crude release talks
Brent dipped back below $100 a barrel following the report, after the EU discussed releasing diesel reserves.
Oil prices dropped by more than 3% after a Reuters report said EU nations were considering a proposal to release diesel reserves.
CNBC Markets said the move followed pressure from the Trump administration, and the news pushed Brent back below $100 a barrel.
