Skyward Group expands ibott autonomous vehicle coverage to US primary market

Skyward Group, the specialty insurance organization behind Skyward Specialty and Apollo, has expanded the autonomous vehicle expertise of its ibott unit into the US primary market.

According to Reinsurance News, the company is adding a suite of solutions and products for the mobility sector, extending specialized coverage across the autonomous vehicle ecosystem.

The coverage is aimed at commercial exposures shared among original equipment manufacturers, autonomous driving system developers, and fleet operators, with ibott operating within Skyward Group’s Apollo as a specialist underwriting unit focused on high exposure digital economy assets and emerging technologies.
