The Zebra adds AI assistant integration for insurance shopping

The integration lets AI assistants extract policy and declaration details from user documents and pass them to The Zebra’s agent harness, and it will also support enrollment in The Zebra’s automatic shopping feature.

Insurance comparison site The Zebra said it will offer agent-to-agent integration with AI personal assistant Muse.

According to Coverager, the integration is designed to let AI assistants pull relevant policy details and declaration pages from connected user documents, then hand that information to The Zebra’s agent harness for insurance comparison.

The company also said the setup will go beyond one-time shopping, allowing consumers to ask their AI assistant to enroll them in The Zebra’s automatic shopping feature, which monitors carrier rates and alerts customers when potential savings are available.

Coverager reports that The Zebra framed the move as meeting consumers where they already use AI, reducing the need to repeatedly search for documents and re-enter the same information.
