Ripe launches online classic car insurance in the UK, underwritten by ERS

The insurer said it serves more than 430,000 policyholders across its broader portfolio of products.

Coverager reports that Ripe Thinking has launched Ripe Classic Cars, an online insurance product for classic, modern classic and collectible vehicles in the UK.

The coverage is underwritten by ERS, and customers can quote, buy and manage their policies online, with access to specialist support by phone.

Ripe said claims will be handled by classic car specialists and through a repair network focused on restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Coverager added that the product is offered on Juice, Ripe’s underwriting and distribution platform, and expands a portfolio of more than 20 consumer and small business insurance products.
