NEXA Lending hires former Rate branch manager Andrew Deyo

Andrew Deyo brought $46 million year to date in originations across 107 units, according to RETR data.

NEXA Lending said Monday that it hired Andrew Deyo, previously a producing partnership branch manager at Rate, as part of its expansion in Colorado.

Deyo, who spent 13 years in the U.S. Army before moving into mortgage lending, is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and evaluated multiple mortgage platforms before choosing NEXA.

According to RETR data cited by HousingWire, Deyo has originated $46 million year to date across 107 units.

In explaining his decision, Deyo pointed to NEXA’s platform economics, infrastructure, and its BDM program, calling the company’s model “clean” and saying it offered the financial opportunity to build and grow.
