REMAX names Alex Vidal president after Real REMAX Group merger close
The Real REMAX Group deal was announced in late April and officially closed in late August, creating a combined Real REMAX Group structure despite separate brand identities.
HousingWire reports that Alex Vidal joined as REMAX president in early September, following the late August close of the Real REMAX Group combination.
The outlet says the merger, first announced in late April, resulted in the creation of the combined Real REMAX Group, with both REMAX and Real keeping separate brand identities.
HousingWire adds that Vidal said REMAX agents would have optional access to Real technology, including reZEN, Leo, AI agents, and Real Wallet.
Vidal also commented that he viewed the leadership opportunity as a long-term chance he could not pass up, and he pointed to the pairing of the REMAX franchise brand with Real’s cloud-based brokerage.
