Celina plans hospitality campus around vintage grain silos
Celina’s economic development office, which owns the silo property, has selected Norris Design, JHP Architecture, and Catalyst Commercial to advance the project plan.
The city of Celina’s economic development office is moving forward with plans to create a hospitality campus that incorporates a handful of vintage grain silos, according to ConnectCRE.
The agency owns the land where the silos sit and has presented a development concept that would include a brewery, food halls, shopping, event space, and a hotel, arranged along a linear park that follows the natural contours of Doe Branch Creek.
The plan aims to highlight the grain silos and the property’s history through the development’s overall theming, and ConnectCRE says Norris Design, JHP Architecture, and Catalyst Commercial have been selected to move the project forward.
The retail component is described as being laid out around a central plaza, with retail and office buildings as part of the commercial segment.
