Doubtless appoints Karl Wiley as North America president

Wiley takes over on October 12, 2026, as Kirk Haggard retires after nearly four decades in insurance.

Coverager reports that Doubtless has appointed Karl Wiley as its regional president for North America, effective October 12, 2026.

Wiley will oversee Doubtless’ North American operations and its portfolio of pet insurance and pet care brands, succeeding Kirk Haggard, who is retiring after nearly four decades in insurance.

According to Coverager, Independence Pet Holdings and Pinnacle Pet Group now operate as Doubtless, which operates across 10 markets and covers more than 6 million pets.

The appointment follows JAB Pet Holdings’ trademark filing for the Doubtless name, which could cover services ranging from pet insurance to veterinary technology and pet healthcare, the filing showed.
