Konsileo secures £5 million equity investment for UK commercial brokerage

London-based commercial insurance broker Konsileo has secured a £5 million equity investment led by long-term shareholders Committed Capital and ACF Investors, according to Coverager.
Konsileo, founded in 2017, employs more than 220 people and placed over £85 million in annual insurance premiums for businesses across the UK, the outlet reported.
The company said the new funding is intended to help it keep attracting staff, invest in its platform, and build on growth as it approaches its tenth anniversary, Coverager wrote.
Konsileo CEO and co-founder John Warburton said the company’s model gives brokers autonomy and support, and that the investment will back continued momentum, the outlet reported.
