Relm Insurance appoints Ankur Pandya to lead financial lines and cyber

Pandya, based in New York, joins the role with more than two decades of financial lines experience, including 10 years at Chubb and 10 years at Travelers.

Relm Insurance has appointed Ankur Pandya as Senior Vice President for Financial Lines and Cyber as the specialist insurer continues expanding its presence in the US market, according to Reinsurance News.

Pandya is based in New York and will report to Shane Doyle, Relm’s Chief Underwriting Officer. In his new position, he will support development of Relm’s financial lines and cyber portfolios with a focus on underwriting standards, portfolio management, and sustainable profitability.

Relm said Pandya brings more than two decades of experience in financial lines, including senior underwriting and leadership roles at Chubb, where he spent 10 years working with underwriting teams, managing complex portfolios, and developing relationships with brokers and clients.

Before Chubb, he spent another 10 years at Travelers across underwriting and distribution, and Relm said his background across both areas will help its efforts to expand its US operations and build out its financial lines and cyber business.
