reThought Flood selects PL Rating to expand private flood coverage access
PL Rating connects more than 10,000 agents with over 320 carriers and MGAs, and agents completed 6.8 million flood transactions on the platform in 2025.
Vertafore said MGA reThought Flood has selected its PL Rating platform to expand distribution of the company’s private flood insurance to independent agencies.
According to Coverager, PL Rating connects more than 10,000 agents with more than 320 carriers and MGAs so agencies can quote and compare personal lines coverage.
Coverager also reported that in 2025 alone, agents completed 6.8 million flood transactions through the platform, a scale Vertafore cited as a key factor in reThought Flood’s decision.
Vertafore said the move gives reThought Flood another entry point into its distribution ecosystem by linking specialized flood products with thousands of independent agencies already using Vertafore technology.
