Vizsla Copper reports high-grade silver in Alaska drilling

The latest drill hole at the AG deposit returned 21 metres of 4.79% zinc, including a 7-metre higher-grade section with 207.5 grams of silver per tonne.

Vizsla Copper said new drilling at its Palmer copper-zinc project in southeast Alaska highlights high-grade silver mineralization at the AG deposit, with standout results reported from drill hole CMR26-215.

According to Mining.com, the 21-metre interval from 180.3 metres depth graded 4.79% zinc, 0.14% copper, 116.9 grams silver per tonne, and 0.27 gram gold, while a higher-grade section within it, 7 metres, returned 5.46% zinc, 0.17% copper, 207.5 grams silver, and 0.45 gram gold.

Mining.com also reports the Palmer project covers about 330 square kilometres near the Canadian border, roughly 60 km from tidewater, and is a volcanogenic massive sulphide project.

The company added that it acquired Palmer in December 2025, the site has benefited from more than $116 million of historical investment and about 96,000 metres of drilling, and all three drill holes from the 2026 infill program at AG are now complete, the outlet said.
