Leadenhall uses AI to boost ILS risk analysis as it targets 2026-27 growth

The firm, founded in 2008, is tracking investor appetite across ILS product types, including catastrophe bonds and alternative credit insurance-linked investments.

Leadenhall Capital Partners, an insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment manager, is using artificial intelligence to improve productivity and strengthen its risk analysis, CEO Luca Albertini told Artemis.

The firm said it is monitoring investor appetite for different ILS product types as it seeks to differentiate itself for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027.

Leadenhall, launched in 2008, said its strategies span reinsurance opportunities, catastrophe bonds, and life and alternative credit insurance-linked investments.

Albertini also pointed to what he described as an established track record, a stable senior management team, and support from a large multinational financial services group, while maintaining independence in investment decisions and a partnership structure aligned with investor interests.
