Oil prices retreat as Saudi export pledges offset Houthi attacks
Brent was at $105.43 per barrel and West Texas Intermediate at $92.60, both down slightly from the prior session.
Oil prices eased after a session in which crude topped $106 per barrel, as traders weighed ongoing Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia against signals from Saudi Arabia about keeping exports flowing, according to OilPrice.
At the time of writing, Brent crude was trading at $105.43 per barrel and WTI at $92.60 per barrel, both slightly lower than the prior level cited by the outlet.
The market focus also included uncertainty about whether a Russian diesel deal would affect end prices, as traders watched for how it could filter through to crude-related costs, OilPrice said.
