Voya expands Unqork partnership to build AI retirement apps

Voya said the expanded platform will be used to modernize retirement workflows and link financial guidance with customer actions.

Voya Financial has selected UnqorkAI to modernize its workflows and develop AI-powered retirement applications, expanding a partnership the insurers said began in 2019.

According to Coverager, Voya already uses Unqork for sponsor and producer onboarding applications, and it plans to use the new platform to connect financial guidance with customer action and improve client experiences.

UnqorkAI is designed to let companies in regulated industries build and run AI-generated applications with security, cost controls, and governance, a capability Voya described as helping it reengineer complex applications while maintaining enterprise controls.

Coverager reported that Voya is an early customer of UnqorkAI and said it aims to apply AI where it delivers value while addressing the last-mile challenge for customers.
