Marcus & Millichap arranges sale of Chicago mixed-use property

The 14,050-square-foot asset at 5655 West Fullerton Avenue includes 24 multifamily units and four retail suites and was built in 1970.

Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of a Chicago mixed-use property at 5655 West Fullerton Avenue in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood, according to ConnectCRE. The asset comprises 24 multifamily units and four retail suites.

ConnectCRE said the property is a 14,050-square-foot building built in 1970, located about half a mile from the Hanson Park Metra Station and roughly 10 miles from downtown Chicago.

The firm said its Chicago Oak Brook office handled the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer, with both parties identified as private investors. Sam Antreasian, director of investments, cited the area’s transportation connectivity, including access to Interstate 94 and the Metra station.

ConnectCRE added that 17 of the units were renovated over the past five years, including a penthouse with a higher-end renovation and a private outdoor deck.
