Brent crude rises above $93 amid Iran ceasefire uncertainty
Brent is up for a fifth straight session, reaching its highest level in three weeks as markets see no end to the US-Iran conflict risk.
Brent crude prices moved above $93 a barrel as markets focused on uncertainty around the US-Iran conflict, with no clear sign of an end to the fighting described as persisting amid a shaky ceasefire.
According to Guardian Business, Brent rose $1.46, or 1.6%, to just over $93 a barrel, its highest level in three weeks, and the move extended across the last five trading sessions.
In parallel, the live business coverage also noted a separate UK company development: Travelodge’s boss stepped down following criticism of the hotel chain’s handling of guest assaults, as the company worked to improve safety.
