Bitcoin ETFs record sixth straight day of inflows as BTC holds above $80,000

U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs pulled in $337.6 million on Aug. 24, while ether funds added $115.6 million and Solana and XRP also posted gains in inflows.

CoinDesk reported that U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs logged a sixth consecutive day of net inflows, taking in $337.56 million on Aug. 24 according to SoSoValue data.

The outlet said ether funds added $115.57 million, with every listed asset drawing money, including Solana funds up $33.49 million and XRP funds up $13.82 million.

CoinDesk also highlighted that bitcoin briefly pushed to an intraday high of $81,265 on Tuesday before being rejected near its 50-week moving average at about $81,085, then slipped below $80,000 while still up more than 1% over the past 24 hours.

The article noted that the market action follows last week’s breakout past $69,000, which it attributed partly to a short squeeze, and said the total of more than $2.5 billion in six days of ETF inflows is now seen as evidence of sustained spot demand.
