Volatility may keep driving investors toward gold and silver
A technical analyst at Choice Broking pointed to Pharma & Healthcare, Metals, and Consumer Durables as sectors showing stable technical patterns amid equity uncertainty.
Indian equity markets have remained sensitive to global cues, including currency moves, foreign fund flows, and developments in crude oil and US bond yields, according to an interview with Hitesh Tailor of Choice Broking.
Tailor said investors are watching key technical levels on the Nifty 50 and Sensex for signs of the next directional move, noting that rising uncertainty could encourage rotation toward precious metals, including gold and silver.
He highlighted Pharma & Healthcare, Metals, and Consumer Durables as areas showing technical opportunities, while adding that near-term volatility is expected to persist rather than give way to a smooth, one-way trend.
The analyst also pointed to the rupee, crude oil prices, US bond yields, and sharp market swings on both sides as factors shaping sentiment as the market looks for a sustained trend.
