U.S.-China trade truce extended for two more months
The extension followed a three-day Washington visit that included pledges to stabilize relations, but markets focused on the deal gap.
Donald Trump hosted China President Xi Jinping with a full state-visit welcome in Washington, but markets largely zeroed in on what the leaders did not produce beyond relationship-stance pledges, according to OilPrice.
The main economic outcome highlighted by the outlet was an extension of the existing U.S.-China trade truce for two more months.
OilPrice also noted that energy prices were showing movement during the period, with reported quotes including WTI crude at 94.64 and Brent crude at 107.2 at the time shown in its market table.
