Zhuhai Amicro readies HK IPO after passing HKEX hearing
The company is expected to start bookbuilding next week, with a potential mid-October trading debut.
Zhuhai Amicro Technology, a Xiaomi-backed chipmaker, is preparing to begin premarketing for a Hong Kong initial public offering of more than US$100 million as early as this week, according to people familiar with the matter, who requested anonymity because the information is private.
The firm passed its listing hearing with Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing last week, clearing what the sources described as the final regulatory hurdle for the share sale in the city. HKEX records cited by the sources show Amicro had not yet published a public listing document, so its financial details have not been disclosed.
The company plans to start bookbuilding as soon as next week, and the sources said it could make its trading debut in mid-October.
