NIL Real Estate expands into national program for athlete referrals

HousingWire reports the program has grown to 1,400-plus student-athletes across 325-plus universities and is backed by Keller Williams.

NIL Real Estate, a mentoring and licensing program tied to name, image, and likeness efforts, has expanded from a Salt Lake City pilot into a national initiative for college athletes, according to HousingWire.

The outlet reports the program now includes 1,400-plus student-athletes from 325-plus universities. Participants earn real estate licenses and can receive referral income while they complete requirements during school, with the credentials retained after graduation.

HousingWire says NIL Real Estate connects student-athletes with experienced real estate agents who mentor them as they build referral business while still in school, and athletes can earn referral fees when referrals they send close a transaction with an agent.

The initiative is backed by Keller Williams, and HousingWire reports its growth aims to bring in more mentor agents to meet rising athlete demand.
