Fathom and Neighborhood Intelligence mutually end merger agreement
Both companies said current market valuations do not reflect fair value, and Neighborhood will keep its tZERO stake and other digital asset holdings.
Fathom Holdings and Neighborhood Intelligence, the rebranded name for Bed, Bath and Beyond, have mutually agreed to terminate their previously announced merger agreement, according to HousingWire.
The companies said current market valuations do not reflect fair value, and both boards concluded that proceeding at existing share prices would not be in shareholders' best interests.
The planned combination would have linked Fathom's national real estate brokerage and title operations more closely with Neighborhood's technology and data assets.
Neighborhood will retain its blockchain and digital asset investments, including its tZERO stake, while the firms explore a data-sharing collaboration.
